„Weltschmerz“ is a poetic short film about the melancholy of ones own insufficiency as a consequence of human destructiveness.
The story takes place in the year 2050. By that time, the climate crisis will impact our lives heavily. On top of that, the three protagonists have to deal with their inner deamons as well. The film title is a german word that describes the feeling of pain over the transience of earthly glory.
